How to spend a Easter holiday - Lyngen, Norway 2004

First teaser: Skiing & mountaineering trip to Lyngen peninsula, Norway.

The next day we spent mountaineering. Simo took this pic of me at a snowy crest on Store Kjostinden.



Finaly some skiing to be had. Our objective was Kavringstinden in the background.

The follwing day we skinned near Stor Galten, almost at the tip of Lyngen peninsula. This photo was taken from my highpoint looking roughly at NWW.



Pauli and Enni at the top of Jiehkkevárri, the highest mountain in Lyngen. Due to snow conditions we climbed the peak during the night and made it to the top at first light.

Today's target, Rundsfjellet in Fastdalen. Managed to poach some nice powderturns on the biggest couloir ;-)



The last run at Lyngen, Kavringstinden. But this time with a nice powder coating.
