Cutty Shark Tall Ships' Races, Turku 2003

I took part in the Cutty Shark Tall Ships' Races 2003, I was on the chief when we sailed the yacht durign a liason-leg. And later the tall ships' visited my hometown. I was also there, and again too Henrika out to see the start in the open sea.

Cuauhtemoc on the pier at Turku.

And the smallboat pier.

Looking towards the sea near the smallboat pier, in the middle of Aura-river almost at the heart of Turku.

And the big boats, plus a few museum military-vessels.

Can't remember the name of that ship anymore, but they sailed past as at quite a speed.

A nice sunset from the backdeck of S/Y Henrika.

And some whitewater, Henrika "almost" surfing (you'll need quite a bit more sails and wind to get 25 metric tons surf).

Pics by me, and my dad, Ari.
